Looking for a fun, quick fall project? Join Lynda H. for the "November Fallout". Its size is 16" x 16". You can use your favorite fall fabric scraps to make this quick and easy project. You should be able to get started machine quilting your project during class. The November Fallout by Stitchin' pattern will be provided by Be Sew Creative
- You will bring your own fabrics:
- Leaves: 4-assorted orange fabrics-3” x 20” (you can use less colors, just adjust you fabric size accordingly)
- Background: 5” strip
- Stems & Middle Cornerstone: 3” x 20”
- Sashing, borders and binding: 1/3 yard
- Backing: ½ yard or 1 fat quarter
- Batting: ½ yard or 1 fat quarter
Other items to bring:
- Your sewing machine and your normal sewing supplies, such as thread, scissors, seam ripper, pins, etc.
- A walking foot unless you have a dual action foot on your machine.
- A cutting mat, rotary cutter, 6” x 12 and a 6” x 24” cutting ruler, or something similar in size. If you have a larger square ruler, it would be helpful too.
- Bring whatever you use to hold your fabric in place. I use curved quilting safety/basting pins.
- Painters tape to hold your backing in place while you put in the basting pins.
