Learn how to make a convenient case with Lynda H as she teaches you how to create 3 zippered mesh pockets. Perfect for sewing tools, first aid supplies, and more, this fold-over organizer is a must-have for any sewing enthusiast. While prior experience with Soft and Stable is beneficial, it is not required. Please note that this class with Lynda is geared towards skill building and assumes that you have basic sewing machine knowledge.
Be Sew Creative to provide 3 different kit options for the class. The kit will include all of the fabric and supplies needed to make one Stash and Dash case.
Students need to bring:
- Your sewing machine and your normal sewing supplies, such as thread, scissors, seam ripper, pins (yellow topped quilting pins), etc.
- Also, your ¼” foot, zipper foot and walking foot or dual action foot
- Rotary cutter, quilter’s rulers (6” x 12” and 6” x 24”) and cutting mat
- Wonder clips
- Washout marking pencil or pen, or clover chalk pens
- Stiletto, if you are used to working with one
- If you have these tools, please bring them, if not you’ll can share Lynda’s:
- 2 ½” circle ruler (Creative Grids has a Circle ruler set)
- Washable school glue stick and/or
- byAnnie’s double-sided Basting tape 12mm/1/2” bias tape maker
The 1st class is a partial day class, so you are welcome to bring a snack and something to drink. The 2nd class is an all day class, so don’t forget to bring your lunch and something to drink
