Description
Class Description:
This class is for confident beginners through advanced sewists with familiarity and experience working on a serger. The tracing and cutting of fabric will be done in advance of class at your appointment. On class day we will be ready to serge the cardigan together. Consider making a practice cardigan with t-shirt knit (available at BSC) during class your first time. Then you can adjust the sizing as needed before making one on finer fabric.
Materials needed:
1: Pattern - The pattern is called “Karine” from Jalie Sewing Patterns. Cost of the pattern is
included in the class fee:
2: Ease – Used to trace out the pattern. Yardage will be determined by size
(Available at BSC $2.60/yd.)
3. Fabric – Stretch or knit fabric, 58-60” wide; yardage to be determined by size. 2-3 yds
